Wressle Grange is in the perfect location to access some truly beautiful local wedding venues, and we often have large groups staying over to make the most of their trip.
From multigenerational families to groups of old uni friends, we can accommodate up to 26 guests on-site at once – 14 in the farmhouse, plus another 12 across our three cottages.
Let’s take a closer look at just some of the wedding venues we have nearby.
Bunny Hill, North Cliffe
Bunny Hill is, like us, situated between York and Hull, and it’s just 22 minutes away. Established in 2018, they celebrate their weddings in a garden room framed by woodland.
The Grange, Airmyn
The Grange at Airmyn gives the wedding party exclusive use of the house, marquee and grounds, in a beautiful setting… but they don’t have accommodation options. Stay nearby with a short 15 minute drive to Airmyn.
Howden Shire Hall, Howden
With a large room and exclusive access, you’ll find Howden Shire Hall in the heart of Howden. Just a short 10-minute hop from Wressle Grange!
Little Wold Vineyard, South Cave
Celebrating weddings surrounded by grapes and the big outdoors, you can be at Little Wold Vineyard in under half an hour from Wressle Grange.
The Oaks, Aughton
One of our closest wedding venues, only 10 minutes drive away, The Oaks Golf Club and Spa hosts indoor and outdoor ceremonies.
Riverlands Wedding Barns, Faxfleet
A beautiful rustic barn set in the countryside in Faxfleet, outside Goole, Riverlands has us thinking of open fields and cosy fairy lights. This is just 14 miles from Wressle Grange, around 25 minutes drive.
River Mills Ballroom, Selby
An unconventional wedding venue in nearby Selby, River Mills Ballroom is a historical building that started life as an agricultural depository. Now a fully renovated picturesque venue, it’s located only 18 minutes away from Wressle Grange.
Saltmarshe Hall, Saltmarshe
Located just outside of Goole, a short 20-minute drive away, this grand hall is a lovely wedding venue for both indoor and outdoor ceremonies.
York Maze, York
And to finish – a venue that’s a bit different! York Maze offer a-maze-ing weddings set in 45 acres of open countryside – perfect for a less formal wedding, and only 28 minutes from us.
