Wressle Grange is based in Wressle, East Yorkshire. Central and accessible but with a quiet location, we’re only ten minutes from the M62 - perfectly positioned for a central meeting point in the country. York, Leeds, Beverley, Hull, Doncaster and Selby are within easy reach.

Wressle
We’re situated in a village in East Yorkshire. Wressle will charm you with lots of opportunities for local walks and its impressive castle, which is open two weekends per year for visitors.
Howden - five minutes away
The nearest local town is Howden, approximately three miles away. This beautiful market town has the fantastic Ashes park, Howden Minster and lots of great independent shops, cafes and pubs. Most street parking is one hour and there is a pay and display car park in the town. Howden Train Station has fantastic links across the country, including direct trains to York and London.
York - 30 minutes away
The historic city of York is just a short drive away from Wressle Grange, with easy access and lots to see and do, and is a fabulous day out for all the family. Alternatively, you can jump on a direct train from Howden.

Walk
There’s plenty of opportunity for beautiful walks or hikes, with tracks and public footpaths through the rural area.
Fish
There are a few fishing spots near Wressle Grange, including Newhay Lakes and Raker Lakes. You can also fish the River Derwent between Wressle and Breighton by appointment.
Golf
Golfers will be delighted by the local provision, including The Oaks Golf Club, Selby Golf Club and Eagles Golf Centre (also with footgolf).
