Wressle Grange Padel Club
All-weather padel in the peaceful countryside of East Yorkshire.
Play padel in the heart of East Yorkshire
Set within the peaceful surroundings of the Wressle Grange farm, our brand-new padel courts offer a fun and social way to stay active, whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced player. The two covered courts have been built on a former livestock paddock, offering a unique rural backdrop for this fast-growing sport. Our modern, all-season courts have underfloor heating, allowing play in all weather conditions. The courts are fully lit allowing play to continue after sun-set. We also have on-site toilets and a dedicated clubhouse cabin (opening soon), with a shower and changing space for you to freshen up after your game. If you are staying in one of our holiday cottages or at the farmhouse at Wressle Grange, you will have the perfect opportunity to try something new during your stay, right on your doorstep.

How to book a padel court
It's quick and easy to book a court. Simply download the Playtomic app and start by setting up your profile. If you've never picked up a racket in your life, you'll start at 0. If you’ve played for a few months but are still working on your technique, you might be a 0.5. The system goes all the way up to 7 for the pros, so there is a place for everyone. Next, search for Wressle Grange Padel Club or, if you're local to us, share your location and the app will automatically bring up our club. You'll then be able to check court availability, book sessions and plan your next match. You can book a court up to seven days in advance, giving you plenty of time to plan your matches. If you've got a group of four ready to play, you can book your slot in a few taps. If you're on your own or just have one partner, you can join or create an Open Match and play with other players at the same level as you.
What is padel?
Padel is the fastest-growing sport in the UK, and for good reason. It is a fun, fast-paced game that combines elements of tennis and squash, played on an enclosed court with solid bats and a slightly lower-pressure ball. Games are usually played in doubles, making it a social and easy-to-learn activity for all ages and abilities. You do not need years of experience or expensive equipment to enjoy padel. Whether you are visiting Wressle Grange for a relaxing countryside break or live locally and want to get active with friends, padel is a great way to connect, compete, and have fun outdoors.
Perfect for active guests and local padel players
The Wressle Grange Padel Club is designed to be inclusive, welcoming, and community-focused. Guests staying in our cottages can easily book a session as part of their stay, perfect for family fun, team activities, or a friendly match between friends. Local residents are also welcome to come and play. With few padel facilities in the area, Wressle Grange Padel Club offers a new sporting hub for players from nearby villages such as Barmby on the Marsh, Asselby, Spaldington, Bubwith, Hemingbrough, and Cliffe, as well as the larger towns of Howden, Goole, Selby, Doncaster, and York.
