Wressle Grange is a beautiful country escape, situated in a small village between York and Hull. Our picturesque farmhouse and cottages provide a serene and idyllic backdrop for your wedding. Surrounded by stunning open countryside, you'll have the opportunity to create lasting memories in a truly magical setting. Our luxury accommodation sleeps up to 26 people, plus offers a lot of outdoor space - perfect for a small and intimate wedding party. The location? A peaceful, rural village only 10 minutes from the M62 - the perfect central meeting point.
A ceremony to love
Say I do here at Wressle Grange, or marry locally and celebrate in style back at the farmhouse. For religious ceremonies, the nearest churches are St John of Beverley, Wressle and the iconic Howden Minster, but there are many more places of worship in the surrounding towns and villages.

We understand that every wedding is special, and that's why we offer customisable packages to meet your unique requirements. From the moment you arrive to the last dance, we'll work closely with you to ensure every detail is perfect. Our services include:
- Venue hire: Exclusive use of our farmhouse and cottages, outdoor space and car parking
- On-site accommodation: Comfortable and cosy lodging for you and your guests
- Event planning: Our event planner partner will offer you assistance in coordinating suppliers, like local caterers, drinks packages, celebrants, teepee hire and more. Pricing is from only £10,585 for up to 60 people including accommodation, tepee, lights, tables, seating and toilets (no dancefloor). With a double tepee, dancefloor, mirror ball, accommodation and toilets, tables and seating for up to 80 guests, it starts at just £12,585. How much will my wedding cost?
Because each wedding is unique, there is no one-size-fits-all price. If you get in touch, we can talk through your needs for the day, we can arrange a visit to get a feel for the space and look around, and you can ask questions. Availability and price for booking Wressle Grange’s accommodation alone can be found on our booking page - events organisation and external suppliers is at an additional cost depending on your requirements.
What’s the capacity?
The farmhouse and cottages sleep up to 26 people, perfect for a small and intimate wedding reception. If you’re thinking of inviting a few more guests, an outdoor celebration can have up to 80 attendees, with additional arrangements required for bathrooms. Car parking is available.
How do I book?
We’d strongly recommend getting in touch with us first to ensure we can secure the dates you want. To secure the date, we’d require a deposit of 20%, with the remaining 80% due by 2 months before your confirmed date. Payments are non-refundable and as with any wedding, we advise that you take out wedding insurance prior to making arrangements.
